Register for the Network Support Services CCNA Program and then choose your path; CCNA Discovery or CCNA Exploration.

Be prepared for CCENT certification after only two terms of CCNA Discovery Curriculum.

• CCNA Discovery starts with basic computer and networking skills and takes you through everything you need to get your CCENT and CCNA; even if you are starting with "Little or No" experience.

• CCNA Exploration is for those who are starting with some basic experience and training and desire to learn CCNA skills in a more challenging in-depth course and perhaps even continue to higher lever training and certifications.

Would you be interested in an independent flexible course that could allow you to pick and choose the topics in which you would like to have more information? Would you like to be able to practice router and switch configuration online through your own Netlab account? Would a study at home course with optional labs help you meet your busy schedule? If so, you may want to take “Cisco Networking – Key Topics”, a brand new course that is only offered online at Sheridan Technical Center.

This abbreviated 9 week CCNA networking course, assumes you have experience or training in networking and that you are looking for additional training on certain key topics.

In this course you will learn some of the main networking concepts included on the CCNA Exam including; OSI and TCP/IP layers; characteristics of Cisco equipment; knowledge of collision and broadcast domains; subnetting and VLSM; access lists, router and switch configuration and more.

Access routers and switches from your own computer to complete router and switch configuration labs. Come in for live in-person labs on Thursday evenings if desired.

Do you already have a great deal of Networking experience? Do you simply need to be able to practice router and switch configuration on real routers and switches, from home, without having to buy the expensive equipment? If so, you may want to sign up for Routing and Switching Online with Netlab. Through this course you will have your own Netlab account, in which you will be able to access real routers and switches over the Internet. Pre-set labs and standard router and switch pods will be available for use, 24 hours a day, at your convenience.

This 9 week course is designed for students who have networking experience and would like to practice routing and switching commands on real routers and switches from home.

Prerequisite: Understand basic concepts of routing protocols, subnetting, and general networking concepts.

You will be given access to routers and switches though an account on Netlab. Pre-set labs and standard router pods will be available for you to practice configuration.
