GED Online is Broward County's first Internet-based course for adult students. What makes it so appealing? The anytime, any place convenience of the Internet surely plays a role. Online learning offers a fantastic opportunity to reach those who may not be able to make it to a traditional adult education class because of family obligations, varying work schedules, lack of access to transportation, or health reasons just to name a few. GED Online offers the traditional GED preparation course in an untraditional way.
Currently, Broward County's GED Online program serves students from a variety of backgrounds who are located throughout the county and even one who is working online while in Jamaica! With instructor facilitated chats, students are encouraged to use critical thinking skills and work on their specific weaknesses. This course allows each student to tailor it to his or her specific needs. Additionally, students are encouraged to work at their own pace.
Since it's inception, GED Online has had many great success stories. Although each one of our graduates stand out in his or her own special way, in each & every single case, earning a high school diploma has become a stepping stone to bigger and better things!

ABE Online
The Adult Basic Education (ABE) program provides instruction in the basic skills of reading, language arts, and mathematics. The ABE class can be thought of as a “pre-GED” class. Upon successful completion of the ABE program, many adult learners will be able to seamlessly transition into a GED course.
Our ABE Online course is an interactive, animated program that makes learning fun! Students will read through tutorials, answer questions, and receive instantaneous feedback from the program.
Hints and detailed explanations will be given for each question.
Access to the program is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The “any time, any place” opportunity to use this course makes the schedule very flexible. Students will have the freedom to explore any subject on any day.
This allows each learner to take control and customize his or her own educational path.

ESOL Online Program
The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Online program offers flexible, engaging and
comprehensive language training.
ESOL Online addresses all the skills critical to language learning: reading, writing, listening,
speaking, vocabulary, grammar, and culture. Regardless of whether you are a complete beginner or an
advanced speaker, ESOL Online will take you to the next level of language success.
The length of the program is based upon the study needs of each student. This
English for Speakers of Other Languages program is open-entry/open-exit, which allows
students to enter and exit the program when their individual needs have been met. There is a
$10 activity fee for ESOL classes.
Access to the program is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
